The biannual Pfälzer GefahrGutForum takes place again in Presence. BOXLAB Services may not be missing here, of course.
With the Pfälzer GefahrGutForum the IHK Pfalz in cooperation with the SGD Süd offers you twice a year the possibility to inform yourself about current topics concerning the transport of dangerous goods. In addition, at this forum you can discuss with experts and colleagues from the dangerous goods sector and exchange your practical experiences.
The events are usually held alternately in Ludwigshafen and Neustadt. Invited are more than 150 SMEs and authorities in the Palatinate who are involved in the transport of dangerous goods.
BOXLAB Services, as an innovative start-up in the field of dangerous goods labeling, therefore naturally accepted the invitation and also contributed to the program with a half-hour presentation on best practice in the labeling of dangerous goods by Mischa Feig, CEO and founder.

In the field of transport and logistics, dangerous goods are substances, preparations and objects that contain ingredients which, due to their nature or properties - whether physical or chemical - or their condition during transport, may pose certain risks to public safety or order, in particular to the general public, important public goods, human life and health, animals and property, and which are to be classified as dangerous goods by law.
Placards are square, diamond-shaped stickers for transporting dangerous goods and are attached standing on their tips. The colour and number of the hazard label usually indicates the class of dangerous goods. Placards are used to mark dangerous goods on trucks. For example, the colour and the pictogram provide rescue workers with information at first glance about the expected dangers at the accident site. Placards are subject to strict legal requirements that must be strictly adhered to when printing and affixing them.
We are a start-up spun off from BASF and deal with the optimisation of labels and packaging processes - especially in the area of hazardous goods. Our customer base now includes over 50 warehouses in five countries. Within three months we have developed, tested and successfully launched our entire operational business and the first service offering. For the future, we are now planning to expand these services so that the customer can be provided with a fully comprehensive solution around labelled packaging.
