From 08 - 10 November the GGS Leipzig - Trade Fair Dangerous Goods // Hazardous Substances will take place - BOXLAB Services will be there for you as an exhibitor. The GGS Leipzig is the only trade fair for dangerous goods and hazardous materials logistics in Europe and will finally take place again presence after the pandemic-related cancellations of the last two years. We at BOXLAB Services had already confirmed our participation for 2020 and are therefore all the more pleased that we can now present our system solutions in the field of labels and packaging materials on site.

We at BOXLAB Services have our entire product portfolio for you in our luggage. At our booth, you will therefore have the opportunity to see our products live and test them on site. Gastronomy at the Leipzig Exhibition Grounds

Five restaurants, various snack bars and cafés as well as bistros will cater to your physical well-being during your visit to the trade fair. Whether sandwich or multi-course menu. There is something for everyone. You will find the bistros and restaurants between the halls. Cafés await your visit in the East Entrance Hall and in the Glass Hall, and snack bars in every exhibition hall will satisfy your small appetite.

Anreise mit ÖPNV

Leipzig offers an excellent public transport network. Buses, streetcars, regional trains and suburban trains connect the airport, the trade fair grounds, the city center, hotels and sights quickly and conveniently.

Take streetcar line 16 to the trade fair grounds (final stop „Messegelände“).
By regional train (RB) or suburban train (S). Station „Leipzig Messe“.

Admission tickets as local transport ticket
The trade fair admission tickets entitle the holder to free return travel on the day of the trade fair on local public transport operated by the MDV (Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund) in the following tariff zones: 110, 151, 156, 162, 163, 168, 210 and 225 – provided this is expressly stated on the ticket. Arrival by train

At Leipzig Central Station and at the City Tunnel stations of the S-Bahn Central Germany, travelers can change to the S-Bahn in the direction of Messe.

Arrival by car

Leipziger Messe can be reached directly via the A9, A14 and A38 freeways and. Already on the highway you will find appropriate signage.

A dynamic parking guidance system is in operation to help you find a parking space.

A 9 Schkeuditzer Kreuz – ten minutes by car
A 38 Kreuz Parthenaue – ten minutes by car

Arrival by plane

Leipzig/Halle Airport can be reached quickly from Leipzig Trade Fair: In 10 – 15 minutes via the highway and eight minutes by S-Bahn S 5, which runs every half hour.

Via Berlin’s BER Airport: From Berlin Hauptbahnhof, the ICE train travels directly to Leipzig in 1 hour and 15 minutes, and from Berlin Südkreuz in 1 hour and 5 minutes. By car, it takes just under 2 hours from Berlin Airport to Leipzig Trade Fair.

Umbrella term dangerous goods

In the field of transport and logistics, dangerous goods are substances, preparations and objects that contain ingredients which, due to their nature or properties - whether physical or chemical - or their condition during transport, may pose certain risks to public safety or order, in particular to the general public, important public goods, human life and health, animals and property, and which are to be classified as dangerous goods by law.

Placards in large print

Placards are square, diamond-shaped stickers for transporting dangerous goods and are attached standing on their tips. The colour and number of the hazard label usually indicates the class of dangerous goods. Placards are used to mark dangerous goods on trucks. For example, the colour and the pictogram provide rescue workers with information at first glance about the expected dangers at the accident site. Placards are subject to strict legal requirements that must be strictly adhered to when printing and affixing them.

About BOXLAB Services

We are a start-up spun off from BASF and deal with the optimisation of labels and packaging processes - especially in the area of hazardous goods. Our customer base now includes over 50 warehouses in five countries. Within three months we have developed, tested and successfully launched our entire operational business and the first service offering. For the future, we are now planning to expand these services so that the customer can be provided with a fully comprehensive solution around labelled packaging.
