If a placard is stuck to dirt and dust, it will not have the necessary adhesive strength and will therefore detach from the surface. Apart from this, the placard loses its legal seawater resistance and therefore does not meet the requirements for hazardous goods markings.

This cloth is not just limited to pre-cleaning surfaces for applying labels, but is also suitable for a wide range of applications, such as removing engine oil or various other liquids.
Our high-quality and reusable cleaning cloths are made from a hard-wearing blend of cotton and polyester and have a cut size of approx. 400 x 400 mm. The interlinked sides prevent the cloth from fraying, thereby increasing its durability. The material is ideal for demanding cleaning work, e.g. for the surfaces of steel containers or for removing oil residues.

Implementation

In order to make the process for cleaning surfaces and attaching placards more efficient, we have developed a process which, by combining the BOXLAB machine cleaning cloth and the BOXLAB Bio-Cleaner, leads to an optimum result.

Proceed as follows:

Cleaning

Spray BOXLAB BIO Cleaner onto the surface from a distance of approx. 20 cm and wipe clean with the machine cleaning cloth.

Attach

Remove the top corner of the placard from the backing paper using our specially developed peel-off tab and align it. For stubborn cases, use our BOXLAB spray adhesive to achieve the desired degree of adhesion.

Squeegee

Apply the placard vertically from top to bottom using the squeegee to ensure bubble-free and secure adhesion.
